EIR-73-7 RESOLUTION OF THE CITY PLANNING COMMISSION ADOPTING AN ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT-REPORT WHEREAS, a Draft Environmental Environmental Impact Report was filed by Vehicle Recycling Park Associates on April 4, 1973, and WHEREAS, the applicant requested consideration of the Draft Environmental Impact Report as the City of Chula Vista Environmental Impact Report in the consideration of a precise plan, conditional use permit, and tentative subdivision map to permit development of an automobile dismantling, crushing, storage and parts sales facility located on the north side of Otay Valley Road to the east of Brandywine Avenue, and WHEREAS, said Draft Environmental Impact Report was posted and available for public scrutiny and review fora period of twenty working days, and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission set the time and place for a hearing to consider said Draft Environmental Impact Report, and notice of said hearing, together with its purpose, was given by the publication in a newspaper of general circulation in the City at least 10 days prior to the date of said hearing, and WHEREAS, a hearing was held at said time and place, namely 7:00 p.m., June 13, 1973 in the Council Chamber, 276 Fourth Avenue, before the Planning Commission and said hearing was thereafter closed. NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED AS FOLLOWS: From facts presented to the Planning Commission, the Commission finds that in accordance with the Environmental Quality Act of 1970 and the interim procedures for the processing of Environmental Impact Reports by the City of Chula Vista, the final Environmental Impact Report submitted by the Environmental Review Coordinator on June 13, 1973 for the above mentioned development is hereby adopted as the City of Chula Vista's Environmental Impact Report on said development. PASSED and APPROVED by the CITY PLANNING COMMISSION of CHULA VISTA, CALIFORNIA this 13th day of June, 1973, by the following vote, to-wit: AYES: Members Chandler, Wilson, Macevicz, Rice, Swanson and Whitten NOES: None ABSENT: Member Rudolph Chairman ATTEST: Secretary
