EIR-73-10 RESOLUTION OF THE CITY PLANNING COMMISSION ADOPTING AN ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT REPORT WHEREAS, a preliminary Draft Environmental Impact Report was filed by Pacific Telephone and Telegraph Company on June 5, 1973, and WHEREAS, a Draft Environmental Impact Report was filed on August 15, 1973, and WHEREAS, Pacific Telephone and Telegraph Company requested consideration of the Draft Environmental Impact Report leading to the preparation of a final Environmental Impact Report by the City of Chula Vista in the consideration of the development of property, and WHEREAS, said Draft Environmental Impact Report was posted and available for public scrutiny and review for a period of 21 days, and WHEREAS, a notice of completion was sent to the Secretary of Resources of the State of California on August 7, 1973, and WHEREAS, the Environmental Review Coordinator of the City of Chula Vista prepared a final Environmental Impact Report considering the Draft Environmental Impact Report and public comment on said draft, and WHEREAS, said final Environmental Impact. Report was considered by the City Planning Commission on September 26, 1973. NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED AS FOLLOWS: From the facts presented to the Commission, the Commission finds that in accordance with the Environmental Quality Act of 1970 and Ordinance No. 1459 of the City of Chula Vista, said final Environmental Impact Report for: 1. Pacific Telephone and Telegraph Company Chula Vista Plant Operating Center located on Otay Valley Road at Oleander Avenue, and 2. Redesignation of the Land Use Element of the City of Chula Vista General Plan for the area at the southeast quadrant of Interstate 805 and Otay Valley Road from Agricultural Preserve to Industrial-Research and Limited, is hereby adopted as the City of Chula Vista Environmental Impact Report on said acts. PASSED and APPROVED by the CITY PLANNING COMMISSION of CHULA VISTA, CALIFORNIA this 26th day of September, 1973, by the following vote, to-wit: AYES: Members Chandler, Wilson., Rice, Macevicz, Rudolph, Swanson and Whitten NOES: None ABSENT: None CG~e-ur ATTEST: Chairman Secretary
