EIR-74-9 RESOLUTION OF THE CITY PLANNING COMMISSION ADOPTING AN ENVTRONMENTAL IMPACT REPORT WHEREAS, an application for an Environmental Impact Report was filed by Shattuck Construction Company on August 21, 1974, and WHEREAS, after independent review and analysis of said application the Environmental Review Committee of the City of Chula Vista issued a Draft Environ- mental Impact Report on September 5, 1974, and WHEREAS, a notice of completion was sent to the Secretary of Resources of the State of California on September 9, 1974, and WHEREAS, said draft Environmental Impact Report was available for public review and scrutiny fora period of 30 days, and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of Chula Vista held a public hearing on October 9, 1974 for the purpose of taking public testimony on said draft Environmental Impact Report, and WHEREAS, the Environmental Review Coordinator prepared a final Environ- mental Impact Report considering the draft Environmental Impact Report and public comment on said draft Environmental Impact Report, and WHEREAS, the final Environmental Impact Report was considered by the Planning Commission of the City of Chula Vista on October 23, 1974. NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED AS FOLLOWS: From the facts presented to the Commission, the Commission finds that in accordance with the Environmental Quality Act of 1970 and Ordinance 1520 of the City of Chula Vista, said final Environmental. Impact Report fora project consisting of the development of 113 single family dwellings on approximately 38.8 acres of land near the eastern terminus of East J Street, commonly known as South Bay Villas, is hereby adopted as the City of Chula Vista Environmental Impact Report on said project. PASSED AND APPROVED BY THE CITY PLANNING COMMISSION OF CHULA VISTA, CALIFORNIA this 23rd day of October, 1974, by the following vote, to-wit: AYES: Commissioners Rudolph, Starr, Floto, Chandler, Rice and Pressutti NOES: None ABSENT: None Chairman ATTEST: Secretary
