RESOLUTION OF THE CITY PLANNING COMMISSION
ADOPTING AN ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT REPORT
WHEREAS, the proponents of a project known as E1 Rancho del Rey, consisting
of a multi-phased planned community north of Telegraph Canyon Road and west of
Otay Lakes Road, wish to receive discretionary approval of said pttoject, and
WHEREAS, said project could have a possible significant effect on the
environment, and
WHEREAS, the proponents of said project retained an environmental consultant
selected from a list of said consultants approved by the City Council of the City
of Chula Vista, and
WHEREAS, said consultant submitted an application for an environmental
impact report to the Environmental Review Section of the Planning Department
of the City of Chula Vista on April 21, 1976, and
WHEREAS, after independent review and analysis of said application, the
Environmental Review Committee of the City of Chula Vista issued a draft Environ-
mental Impact Report on May 20, 1976, giving legal notice of the availability of
.said draft Environmental Impact Report on May 27, 1976 and filing notice of
completion with the Secretary for Resources of the State of California, and
WHEREAS, said draft Environmental Impact Report was available for public
review and scrutiny for a period in excess of 30 days, and
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of Chula Vista held a public
hearing on said draft Environmental Impact Report on June 28, 1976 and July 26,
1976.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED AS FOLLOWS:
From the facts presented to the Commission, the. Commission finds that said
Environmental Impact Report has been prepared in accordance with the California
Environmental Quality Act of 1970, as amended, the California Administrtive Code,
and the Environmental Review Policy of the City of Chula Uista, and hereby adopts
said Environmental Impact Report as the City of Chula Vista's final Environmental
Impact Report on said project.
PASSED AND APPROVED BY THE CITY PLANNING COMMISSION OF CHULA VISTA, CALIFORNIA
this 26th day of July, 1976, by the following vote, to-wit:
AYES: Commissioners Pressutti, Starr, Floto, Chandler and R. Johnson
