HomeMy WebLinkAboutEIR 75-04 RESOLUTION N0. EIR-75-4 RESOLUTION OF THE CITY PLANNING COMMISSION ADOPTING AN ENVIRONMENTAL. IMPACT REPORT WHEREAS, the proponents of a project commonly known as the Cunradi lot split, consisting of three sing}e family dwellings on 1..62 acres located at the north- west quadrant of I-805 and East J Street, wish to receive discretionary approval of said project, and WHEREAS, the Chula Vista Planning Department wished to initiate zoning .action on the said parcel and an adjacent 4.66 acre parcel, and WHEREAS, the proponent of said Cunradi lot split provided the Planning Department staff with data for the preparation of a Draft Environmental Impact Report, and WHEREAS, the Environmental Review Committee of the City of Chula Vista issued for public review a Draft Environmental Impact Report on said Cunradi lot splits and the proposed rezoning actions on October 16, 1975, giving legal notice of the availability of the Draft Environmental Impact Report on October 19, 1975, and filed a notice of completion with the Secretary of Resources for the State of California, and WHEREAS, said Draft Environmental Impact Report was available for public review and scrutiny for a period in excess of 30 days, and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of Chula Vista held a public hearing on said Draft Environmental Impact Report on November 24, 1975 and December 8, 1975. NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED AS FOLLOWS: From the facts presented to the Planning Commission, the Commission finds that said Environmental Impact Report for the Cunradi lot split and proposed - zoning actions has been prepared in accordance with the California Environmental Quality Act of 1970, as amended, and the Environmental Review Policy of the City of Chula Vista, and hereby adopts said. Draft Environmental Impact Report as the City of Chula .Vista final Environmental-Impact Report on said projects. PASSED AND APPROVED BY THE CITY. PLANNING-COMMISSION OF CHULA VISTA, CALIFORNIA this 8th day of December, 1975, by the following vote, to-wit: AYES: Commissioners Pressutti, Floto, Starr, Rudolph, Chandler, Johnson and Smith NOES: None ABSENT: None Chairman ATTEST: Secretary
