RESOLUTION OF THE CITY PLANNING COMMISSION
ADOPTING AN ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT REPORT
WHEREAS, Ralph Monsees wishes to receive approval of a tentative subdivision
map known as Casa del Rey to be located north of Telegraph Canyon Road and easterly
of Paseo Ladera, and
WHEREAS, said project consists of a proposed 220 lot single family subdivision
on 68 acres, and
WHEREAS, Ralph Monsees selected Toups Corporation from the list of environmental
consultants found by the City of Chula Vista to be qualified for the preparation of
environmental impact reports, and
WHEREAS, Toups Corporation prepared an application for an Environmental Impact
Report and submitted it to the City of Chula Vista Planning Department on
December 2, 1977, and
WHEREAS, after independent review and analysis of said application, the
Environmental Review Committee of the City of Chula Vista issued a draft Environmental
Impact Report on said project on December 23, 1977, giving legal notice of the
availability of said report on December 25, 1977 and filing a notice of completion
with the Secretary of Resources for the State of California, and
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of Chula Uista held a public
hearing on said draft Environmental-Impact Report on January 25, 1978;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED AS FOLLOWS:
From the facts presented to the Flanning Commission the Commission finds that
said Environmental Impact Report for the proposed Casa del Rey subdivision has been
prepared in accordance with the California Environmental Quality Act of 1970, as amended,
the California Administrative Code, and the Environmental Review Policy of the City
of Chula Vista, and hereby certifies that the Commission has reviewed the information
in the Environmental Impact Report and will consider this information as it reaches
a decision on the project.
PASSED AND APPROVED BY THE CITY PLANNING COMMISSION OF GHULA VISTA, CALIFORNIA
this 25th day of January, 1978, by the following vote, to-wit:
AYES: Commissioners Renneisen, G. Johnson, O'Neill, Chandler, R. Johnson
and Smith
NOES: None
ABSENT: Commissioner Pressutti
