EIR-84-6 RESOLUTION OF THE CITY PLANNING COMMISSION CERTIFYING ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT REPORT WHEREAS, Gardner Investment Properties, requested a General Plan amendment, rezoning, tentative subdivision map approval, and approval of a precise plan for a project commonly known as Chula Vista Woods located to the west of Brandywine Avenue and to the south of the extension of East Naples Street, and WHEREAS, it was determined that the project could have a significant environmental impact and therefore, it was necessary to prepare focused environmental impact report on the project, and WHEREAS, the Environmental Review Coordinator of the City of Chula Vista, after reviewing proposals for the preparation of the Environmental Impact Report and the other environmental documents for the project, selected Mooney-Lettieri and Associates to prepare these documents, and WHEREAS, on February 7, 1984, a Notice of Preparation of the EIR was II circulated to adjoining property owners and through the State Clearinghouse, and WHEREAS, on May 10, 1984, the Environmental Review Coordinator issued for public revieva a draft of EIR-84-6 on the Chula Vista Woods Project, and WHEREAS, legal notice of the availability of the Draft Environmental Impact Report was given through publication in a newspaper of general circulation on May 13, 1984, and the Notice of Completion was filed with the Secretary for Resources with the State of California, and I WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of Chula Vista held a public hearing on the adequacy of the Draft Environmental Impact Report on June 13, 1984. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED as follows: From the facts presented to the Planning Commission, the Planning Commission finds that EIR-84-6 has been prepared in compliance with the California Environmental Quality Act of 1970 as amended and the Environmental Revieva Procedures of the City of Chula Vista and hereby further certifies that the Commission has reviewed and considered the information in the Environmental Impact Report as it reaches reaches a decision on the project. PASSED AND APPROVED by the City Planning Commission of Chula Vista, California, this 22nd day of August 1984, by the following vote, to-wit: AYES: Cannon, Green, Guiles, Tugenberg, Carson NOES: None.
