I have expressed last year during negotiations that my pay as that of my fellow co-workers in the miscellaneous category has been reduced by more than 16%. All we aze asking for is for Council to restore our wages from what we had and were due in 2009 by 2016. This can be achieved by budgeting employee increases as any other line item. Increases get passed through Council all the time in addition of employees and classification changes. The monies are found through savings or unanticipated revenue. Please consider us the miscellaneous employees as you do for other city needs. There is no way the city could function without us. And now is the time to add us into the budget, show us you care in a commitment to recognizing we are what holds the city together and deserve respect in the budgeting process. Sincerely, Michelle Castagnola Sent from my Galaey S~~I^
