HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso 1963-3182r RESOLUTION N0. 3182 RESOLUTION OP THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CHULA VISTA APPROVING AGREEMENT TO PURCHASE CORPORATION YARD SITE WHEREAS, the City of Chula Vista desires to purchase a suitable a_t, site for its corporation yard and WHEREAS, PURVIS MARTIN, DEVA S. MARTIN, MARION D. REDDING and HELEN M. REDDING have offered to sell to the City of Chula Vista certain real property for a corporation yard site. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the agreement for the purchase of the real property described as All of the Southeast Quarter of the Northwest Quarter of Quarter Section 162 of Subdivision of RANCHO DE LA NACION, in the City of Chula Vista, County of San Diego, State of California, according to Map thereof No. 505, filed in the office of the County Recorder of-said San Diego County, March 13, 1888. EXCEPTING THEREFROM, the Easterly 30 feet, the Southerly 40 feet and the. Westerly 140 feet. ALSO EXCEPTING THEREFROM, that portion conveyed to San Diego and Arizona Railway Company, by Deed dated May 8, '; 1920, and recorded in Boon 811, Page 414 of Deeds, Records of said San Diego County, described as follows: Beginning at a point on the Northerly line of "F" Street, distant 100 feet Easterly from the Easterly line of Bay Boulevard which point of commencement is on Easterly line of Grantee's main line right-of-way; thence Easterly along Northerly line of "F" Street, 279.09 feet; thence Northwesterly along a curve to the right, having a radius of 439.276 feet, through a central angle of 51°25" to a point on said Easterly right-of-way line distant 260.51 feet Northerly from said Northerly line of "F" Street; thence Southerly along said Easterly right-of-way line, 260.51 feet to POINT OF BEGINNING/ executed by PURVIS MARTIN, DEVA S. MARTIN, MARION D. REDDING and HELEN M. REDDING is hereby approved and accepted and the Mayor and the Chief Ad- ministrative Officer are hereby authorized to execute said Agreement on behalf of the City of Chula Vista. A copy of said executed agreement is hereby ordered to be attached to the Resolution and same is incorporated herein by this reference thereto as though here set forth in full. VENDORS furtheragree to furnish purchaser with a usual policy of title insurance to be issued by the STEWART TITLE COMPANY OF SAN DIEGO. 7. VENDORS agree to remove any and all structures or improvements upon 30 days written ndi.ce by PURCHASER. to any one of the VENDORS.
