RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF-THE CITY OF
CHULA VISTA PROCLAIMING MAY 1, 1964, AS LAW DAY
IN THE CITY OF CHULA VISTA
WHEREAS, the United States of America and its various subordi-
nate political subdivisions., including the City of Chula Vista, are
dedicated to the principles of Constitutional Government, and
WHEREAS, inherent in such Constitutional Government is the
concept of equality and liberty under law, and
WHEREAS, we recognize and adhere to the principle of a govern-
went of laws and not of men.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, as follows:
1. The City Council of the City of Chula Vista hereby pro-
claims and designates the'lst day of May, 1964, as LAW DAY in the
City of Chula~Vista.
