RESOLUTION N0. 3803
RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CHULA VISTA
PROVIDING FOR THE SPECIAL APPROPRIATION OF FUNDS
FOR THE REMODELING OF THE CITY ATTORNEY'S OFFICE AND
FOR AN ADDITION TO THE POLICE DEPARTMENT
The City Council of the City of Chula Vista does hereby
resolve as follows:
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Chula Vista is
authorized by the City Charter, Section 1105, to amend or supplement
the annual city budget by the affirmative votes of at least four
members at any meeting after its adoption, and
WHEREAS, the existing office facilities for the City
Attorney are totally inadequate to contain the necessary furnishings
which have been purchased and cannot .accommodate the necessary
library which has been authorized for purchase, and the only means
of providing adequate space as heretofore agreed upon is the
utilizing of the adjoining office, which will necessitate an
addition to the Police Department to house the xerox machine.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Chula Vista that the sum of $ 2,200..00 be appropriated
from the unappropriated surplus of the
General
fund for the purpose hereinabove set forth.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Finance Officer be, and he
is hereby directed to record this Council action in the accounting
records of the City.
