HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso 1965-3792 RESOLUTION N0. 3792 RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CHULA VISTA 4 GRANTING A SEWER SERVICE CHARGE VARIANCE TO GREG ROGERS SCHOOL The City Council of the City of Chula Vista does hereby .resolve as follows: , 60fIEREAS, Greg Rogers School has heretofore applied for a sewer service charge rate review to obtain a variance from the 4 established rate of 30°s of the amount of the total water bill, and WHEREAS, the application for rate review has been reviewed i by the Board comprised of the Chief Administrative Officer, City ' Engineer, and the Finance Officer pursuant to the provisions of j Ordinance 807 and theRules of Interpretation and Procedure for Administration of Requests for Variance from Sewer Service Charges, and WHEREAS, said review indicates that the large acreage under irrigation at the Greg Rogers School warrants a variance from said I sewer service charges. NOW, THEREFORE,. The estimated cubic feet of sejjAg.! flow was based on ac,75 cubic foot per capita per day..,,seng flow. The Engineering Division has not made a study of this but estimate t this is a reasonable amount. It is Proposed to make an actual sewage measurement in the fall of the year when normal school enrollment is in effect. However, the large acreact under irri_qation at the Greg RRaEEs School warrants a variance prior to the actual sewage determination. Based upon the attached calculation, it is recommended that the annual sewer service charge variance rate be 11.77%. DAI -
