Commission Comments:
Cmrs. Felber and Spethman relayed an unfortunate experience that a mutual acquaintance
shared with them of his experience dealing with City staff He came to the City seeking
direction on what he would need to do to relocate his business to another location within the
City. He encountered roadblocks and total apathy from a staff member of the Planning and 'i
Building front counter; out of frustration he ended up moving his business to Imperial Beach,
which he found to be a very business-friendly City The Commission expressed grave concern
with this behavior coming from a City employee and the message it sends that the City is not
business-friendly, j
