HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso 1964-3499RESOLUTION N0. 3499 RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CHULA VISTA APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING FINANCIAL REPORT ON BUDGETED 1963-1964 GAS TAX FUNDS SECTION 186.1 THROUGH 186.7 WHEREAS the Collier-Unruh Local Transportation Development Act provides that "Within 60 days following the close of each fiscal year each county, city or city and county shall file with the Department a report in a form prescribed by the Department and certified by the local governing body showing its expenditures of funds during the preceding fiscal year pursuant to Sections 186.1 through 186.7"; and WHEREAS the attached report, compiled in the form prescribed by the Department from records maintained by the City of Chula Vista and showing expenditures during the 1963-1964 fiscal year pursuant to Sections 186.1 through 186.7 of the Streets and Highways Code, has been examined by the City Council, and is determined to be factual; now THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Chula Vista hereby certifies the attached report to be a true record of expenditures by the City of Chula Vista during the 1963-1964 fiscal year in conformance with the requirements of the Collier-Unruh Local Transportation Development Act; and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Finance Officer is hereby instructed to transmit six copies of the report and three certified copies of this resolution to the State of California, Department of Public Works, Division of Highways, in care of the Engineer in charge of its local District office.
