HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso 1964-3296RESOLUTION N0. 3296 RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CHULA VISTA APPROVING VARIANCE OF S~,'vJER SERVICE CHARGE FOR 54 WOODLA4d1~T, 36-A AND 36-B WOODLAv1N WHEREAS, application has been received for a waiver of pay- ment of sewer service charges at 54 Woodlawn and at 36-A and 36-B Woodlawn, and WHEREAS, the City Engineer has investigated both premises and has reported to the Chief Administrative Officer, and WHEREAS, the City Administrative Officer recommends a vari- ance to Section 26.81 of the City Code by waiving the service charge provided in said Section 26.81, Subdivision 2. NOW, THERF,FORE, BE IT RESOLVEll as follows: 1. The City Council finds that it is not physically possi- ble to connect the premises known as 54 ',aoodlawn, 36-A and 36-B Woodlawn to the sewer for the reason that the sewer line is on a higher level than the premises. 2. The recommendation of the Chief Administrative Officer to grant a variance and waiver of the fees provided for in Section 26.$1, Subdivision 2, is hereby approved and the application of A. Taylor and the Estate of Ortensia Francone at 36-A and 36-B Woodlawn is granted and the application of Mary Hammond and Paul Ising at 54 Woodlawn is granted. 3. It is further ordered that the Finance Officer shall refund all payments previously made for sewer service charges on said premises to the person making same.
