RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CHULA VISTA
ACCEPTING, DEDICATING AND NAMING CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY IN
SAID CITY FOR STREET AND HIGHWAY PURPOSES
The City Council of the City of Chula Vista does hereby
resolve as follows:
That that certain grant of real property, made by grant
deed, executed by THE SWEETWATER UNION HIGH SCHOOL DISTRICT
dated the 17th day of February 19 66, a copy of which
is attached hereto and by this reference made a part hereof, the
same as though fully set forth herein be, and the same is hereby
accepted and dedicated to public use for street and highway purposes
by the City of Chula Vista.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that said real property is hereby
officially named FOURTH AVENUE.

or Highway Purposes Over and Upon the )
Chula Vista High School site, Property )
Owned by the Sweetwater Union High )
School District )
On motion of Member Rogers , seconded by Member Foster the
following resolution is adopted:
WHEREAS, this Board on December 16, 1965, adopted its Resolution of Intention
to dedicate to the City of Chula Vista easements for public street or highway
purposes over and upon the Chula Vista High School site therein described, said
property being owned by the Sweetwater Union High School District of San Diego
County, California; and
WHEREAS, said Resolution of Intention provided that a public hearing on the
question of making such dedication be held by this Board at its regular place of
meeting on January 20, 1966 at 7:30 p.m. at which time and place all persons
interested might appear and show cause, if any they had, why said dedication
should not be made; and
WHEREAS, notice of the adoption of said Resolution of Intention was duly given
as provided by law, all of which appears by the affidavits of posting and publication
on file in the office of this Board; and
WHEREAS, this Board formally convened at the time and place set forth in said
Resolution of Intention, and no person appeared to object to or protest either
verbally or in writing against the dedication of easements described in said
Resolution; and
WHEREAS, in the judgment of this Board it is expedient and for the best
interests of this district that said dedication be made; NOW THEREFORE
BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Trustees of the Sweetwater Union High School
District of San Diego County, California:
That easements for public street or highway purposes over and upon the Chula
Vista High School site, property belonging to said District and more particularly
described in said Resolution of Intention, be and they are hereby dedicated to the
City of Chula Vista for said public street or highway purposes.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the President of this Board be and is hereby
authorized and directed to execute and deliver a deed of dedication of the
easements described in said Resolution of Intention to said City.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of Trustees of the Sweetwater Union High
School District of San Diego County, California, this 20th day of January, 1966,
by the following vote:
AYES: Members Foster, Hayes, Rogers, Schemmer, and Whittington
NOES: Members None
ABSENT: Members None
