BACKGROUND:
Work contemplated under Gas Tax Project 4136 at Broadway
and "E" Street will smooth the flow of vehicular traffic
through that intersection. Part of the work involves in-
stallation of larger radius curb returns to facilitate
turning movements. To accommodate the new curb returns
and a relocated driveway it is necessary that an existing
drainage structure be modified, and placed in part upon
private property.
The appropriate grant of easement for drainage purposes at
the southwest corner of the intersection has been obtained
from the owners of adjacent property.
Council action is necessary to formalize City acceptance
of the easement.
