Part of the work involves in- stallation of larger radius curb returns to facilitate turning movements. To accommodate the new curb returns and a relocated driveway it is necessary that an existing drainage structure be modified, and placed in part upon private property. The appropriate grant of easement for drainage purposes at the southwest corner of the intersection has been obtained from the owners of adjacent property. Council action is necessary to formalize City acceptance of the easement. Supporting information: (Use other side if necessary) Work contemplated under Gas Tax Project #136 at Broadway and "E" Street will smooth the flow of vehicular traffic through that intersection. Part of the work involves installation of larger radius curb returns to facilitate turning movements. To accommodate the new curb returns and a relocated driveway it is necessary that an existing drainage structure be modified and placed, in part, upon private property. The Division of Engineering has obtained the appropriate grant of easement for drainage purposes from the owners of the adjacent property at the southwest corner of the intersection. The owners of record are Robert Lion and Victoria L. Stowell. Please prepare a resolution for Council action accepting the subject grant of easement and instructing the City Clerk to record the document in the office of the Recorder of San Diego County.
