RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CHULA VISTA
APPROVING THE PLANNING COr'IMISSION ACTION IN GRANTING
CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT TO Harris-Turner/Kromschroeder & Associates
f~'OR a Convalescent Facility
The City Council of the City of Chula Vista does hereby
resolve as follows:
WHEREAS, on June 20, 1966 the Planning Commission of
the City of Chula Vista held a public hearing on the application of
Harris-Turner/Kromschroeder & Associates for a Conditional Use Permit
for a Convalescent Facility on the property

located at 2800 Bonita Road, R-3-I~/Zone, in the City of Chula Vista
and more particularly described in the plat attached hereto and by this
reference made a part hereof, the same as though fully set forth herein,
and
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission, following said hearing,
adopted a Resolution, with findings, recommending the granting of said
Conditional Use Permit, subject to certain conditions, and
WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 16.54 of Ordinance No. 398, the
said recommendation of the Planning Commission appeared on the Agenda
of the City Council, and
WHEREAS, said City Council has revYewed said recommendation
and findings of the Planning COmm1SS:LOn and all documents on file in
connection with said application for Conditional Use Permit.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Chula Vista that sa.td action of the Planning Commission,
together with said findings recommending the granting of said
Conditional Use Permit, subject to the conditions set forth therein
is hereby affirmed, and said Conditional Use Permit is hereby authorized
as recommended by the Planning Commission.
BE 1T FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk of the City of
Chula Vista be, and he is hereby directed t.o comply with the provisions
of Section 16.56, sub-paragraph 2, of Ordinance No. 398.

Subject:Conditional Use Permit - 2800 Bonita Rd. - Convalescent Home
Gentlemen:
At their meeting of June 20, 1966, the City Planning Commission
held a public hearing to consider an application for a conditional
use permit for a convalescent home to be located at 2800 Bonita
Road, This use was previously approved by the Council for the
location 200 feet to the east of this proposed site on August 3, 1965•
In accordance with their attached resolution, the Commission unani-
mously recommended approval of this use at this new location.

RECOMMENDING TO THE CITY COUNCIL
APPROVAL OF CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT FOR

WHEREAS, a duly verified application for a conditional use permit was filed
with the Pla nning Department on

WHEREAS, said application requested that the applicant be granted a condi-
tional use permit to allow relocation of a convs8oscent facility
on property at ~~ 9o~`ita ~~ more particularly described
in the application, and which is zoned_ ~~~~ ~~ R"~"fl and
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission set the time and place for a hearing on
said application and notice of said hearing was given by the mailing of a letter to
property owners within 300 feet of the exterior boundaries of the property at least
ten days prior to the hearing, and
WHEREAS, the hearing was held at the time and place, namely '~~~ ~~e 166,

before the Planning Commission and said hearing was thereafter closed.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE City Planning Commission finds as
follows:
1. That the granting of the conditional use permit will not be materially
detrimental to the public health, safety or welfare.
