RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF` 'I'HE_ CITY OF CHULA VISTA
REGULATING AND RESTRICTI'1G PARKING ON~NAPLES STREET IN THE
CITY OF CHULA VISTA
The City Council of the City of Chula Vista doea hereby
• resclve as follows:
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Chula Vista is
authorized. by Section 22507 of the Vehicle Code of the State of
CalifoY:nia and the Ordinances of the City of Chula Vista to regulate
the par.:ki:~q or standing of vehicles on the City streets by means of
the adoption of a Resolution, and
WHEREAS, ~t has been determined on the basis of engineering
and traffic invcstigat~ons that it is in the best interests of the
health, ~a~ety and caelfare of the people of the City of Chula Vista
to establish parking limitations on a portion ofGNaples Street in the
City of Chula Vista.

NJ~v , `rH ~rREFORE , BE IT RESOLVED by t}-~e C L ty Counc i l of the
City of Cr~u_La Vista that Schedule III of the Traffic Regulations
adopted by Resolution No. 4225 on the 1st day of November, 1966 be,
and it is hereby amended to include the following parking limitations:
NO PARKING AT ANY TIME:
On the South side of~ aples Street from a
point 200' east of the east curbline of ~lonserate to the west curbline
of Nacion; and on the north side of Naples Street from the east curbline
of Monserate to the west curbline of Osage,
said limitations to be effective as soon as the necessary signs and curb
• markings have been installed.

RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CHULA VISTA
ACCEPTING BIDS AND AWARDING CONTRACT FOR THE IMPROVEMENT
OF THE TRAFFIC SIGNAL SYSTEMS AT DAVIDSON STREET, "F" STREET,
AND "G" STREET, AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE SAME

The City Council of the City of Chula Vista does hereby
resolve as follows:
WHEREAS, the following two bids were received
and opened at 11:00 a.m. on the 13th day of February ,
19 67, at the Civic Center, 276 Guava Avenue in the City of Chula Vista
for the improvement of the traffic signal systems at Davidson Street,
"F" Street and "G" Street;

Perry Electric
$5,883.00
$7,833.00

and
WHEREAS, the Citv Engineer
has recommended that the contract for said improvement of traffic
signal systems
be awarded to the low bidder, Arrow Electric
who has assured the City that he is a licensed Contractor
in the State of California, and that he can produce an acceptable
performance bond.
• NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the

according to the specifications as approved by the City Engineer
be, and it is hereby awarded to

shall be completed according to said specifications.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor
of the City of Chula Vista be, and he is hereby authorized and directed
said contract for and on behalf of the City of Chula Vista.
