HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso 1967-4332 (2)RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CHULA VISTA ESTABLISHING SPECIFIC PLAN LINES FOR TIDELANDS AVENUE AND "E" STREET The City Council of the City of Chula Vista does hereby resolve as follows: WHEREAS, the State Planning Act, pursuant to Section 65503 of the Government Code of the State of California, authorizes the legislative body of a county or city to adopt a specific plan or regulation, by ordinance or resolution, as recommended by the Planning Commission of such county or city after holding at least one public hearing properly noticed by publication in the official newspaper, and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of Chula Vista has heretofore 'yield a public hearing and, based upon the evidence pre- sented at said hearing, recommended the adoption of specific plan lines for Tidelands Avenue between "G" Street and the northerly City limit line and for "E" Street between Tidelands Avenue and the San Diego & Arizona Eastern Railroad, west of Interstate No. 5, as shown on Exhibit "A" and described in Exhibits "B" and "C", attached hereto and by this reference made a part hereof, .the same as though fully set forth herein, and WHEREAS, the City Council, on February 28, 1967, at its reg- ular meeting, has held a public hearing to consider said proposed specific plan lines as recommended by the City Planning Commission. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Chula Vista does hereby adopt said specific plan lines as recom- mended by the Planning Commission and as shown on Exhibit "A" and described in Exhibits "B" and "C" attached hereto, and does hereby designate same as the specific plan lines for Tidelands Avenue between "G" Street and the northerly City limit line and for "E" Street between Tidelands Avenue and the San Diego & Arizona Eastern Railroad, west of Interstate No. 5. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk of the City of Chula Vista be, and he is hereby directed to forward a copy of this resol- ution and Exhibits "A", "B", and "C" to the owners of record of the property affected by said plan.
