WHEREAS, any attempt to place such controls in the hands of
the Public Utilities Commission or any other administrative board, in-

Utilities Committee to reject Senate Bill No. 615, and the Assembly
Committee on Public Utilities and Corporations to reject Assembly Bill
No. 1310 in light of the fact that the cable television industry is
adequately regulated by the local communities and policing said
