HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso 1967-4391Form No. 348 RESOLUTION N0.1F391 RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CHULA VISTA APPROVING MAP OF MESTLER MANOR UNIT NO. 1 AND ACCEPTING ON BEHALF OF THE PUBLIC THE PUBLIC STREETS DEDICATED ON SAID MAP AND ACCEPTING ON BEHALF OF THE CITY OF CHULA VISTA THE EASEMENTS GRANTED ON THIS MAP WITHIN THIS SUBDIVISION The City Council of the City of Chula Vista does hereby resolve as follows: Said Council hereby finds that that certain map survey entitled Mestler Manor Unit No. 1 and more particularly described as follows: Being a subdivision of Lot 28 and the North 50 feet of Lot 29 in Quarter Section 147 of Chula Vista, in the City of Chula Vista, County of San Diego, State of California, according to Map thereof No. 505, filed in the office of the County Recorder of San Diego County March 13, 1888, excepting therefrom the Northeasterly 125 feet of the Southeasterly 155 feet of the above described property, is made i.n the manner and form prescribed by law and conforms to the surrounding surveys; that said map and subdivision of land shown thereon _s hereby approved and accepted. SaLd Council hereby accepts on behalf of the public the public streets, to wit: FIG AVENUE, GUAVA AVENUE, and a portion KEARNEY STREET, and said streets are hereby declared to be public streets and dedicated to the public use. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that said Council hereby accepts on behalf of the City of Chula Vista, a municipal corporation, the easements with the right of ingress and egress for the construction of sewer, drainage, street tree planting and public utilities, all as granted and shown on said map within this subdivision, subject to the conditions set forth thereon, -1- Form No. 348 Page 2 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk of the City of Chula Vista be, and he is hereby authorized and directed to endorse upon said map the action of said Council, that said Council has approved said subdivision map, and that the said public streets are accepted on behalf of the public as heretofore stated, and that those certain easements with the right of ingress and egress for the construction and maintenance of sewer and drainage facilities, street tree planting, and public utilities as granted thereon and shown on said map within this subdivision are accepted on behalf of the City of Chula Vista, a municipal corporation, as hereinabove stated. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the said City Clerk be, and he is hereby directed to transmit said map to the Clerk of the Board of Supervisors of the County of San Diego, State of Califronia. Chula Vista, California Subject: Mestler Manor Unit No, 1 - Final Map Gentlemen: At their meeting of April 17, 1967, the City Planning Commission considered the final map of the Mestler Manor Subdivision, Unit No, 1. This subdivision is located at the southwest corner of Fourth Avenue and Kearney Street containing 23 lots on 5 acres, This map is in conformance with the tentative map, and the conditions imposed have been met, The Commission, therefore, recommends approval of the map.
