RESOLUTION NO. 4303
RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CHULA VISTA
APPROVING MAP OF CHULA VISTA GARDENS SUBDIVISION UNIT NO. 2
AND ACCEPTING ON BEHALF OF THE PUBLIC THE PUBLIC STREETS
DEDICATED ON SAID MAP AND ACCEPTING ON BEHALF OF THE CITY
OF CHULA VISTA THE EASEMENTS GRANTED ON THIS MAP WITHIN
THIS SUBDIVISION
The City Council of the City of Chula Vista does hereby
resolve as follows:
Said Council hereby finds that that certain map survey
entitled CHULA VISTA GARDENS SUBDIVISION UNIT N0. 2
and more particularly described as follows:
A portion of Quarter Section 94 of Rancho de la Nacion
in the City of Chula Vista, County of San Diego, State
of California, according to Map thereof No. 166, .filed
in the office of the County Recorder of San Diego County
May 11, 1869, and of Lot "G" of Mylo Ocean View Estates
Unit No. 2 in the City of Chula Vista, County of San
Diego, State of California, according to Map thereof
No. 4287 filed in the office of the County Recorder of
San Diego County on July 30, 1959,
is made in the manner and form prescribed by law and conforms to
the surrounding surveys; that said map and subdivision of land
shown thereon is hereby approved and accepted.
Said Council hereby accepts on behalf of the public the
public streets, to wit: NOLAN AVENUE, EAST EMERSON STREET, and
NOCTURNE COURT,
and said streets are hereby declared to be public streets and
dedicated to the public use.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that said Council hereby accepts
on behalf of the City of Chula Vista, a municipal corporation, the
easements with the right of ingress and egress for the construction
of sewer, drainage, street tree planting and public utilities, all
as granted and shown on said map within this subdivision, subject
to the conditions set forth thereon.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk of the City of
Chula Vista be, and he is hereby authorized and directed to endorse
upon said map the action of said Council, that said Council has
approved said subdivision map, and that the said public streets are
accepted on behalf of the public as heretofore stated, and that those
certain easements with the right of ingress and egress for the
construction and maintenance of sewer and drainage facilities, street
tree planting, and public utilities as granted thereon and shown on
said map within this subdivision are accepted on behalf of the City
of Chula Vista, a municipal corporation, as hereinabove stated.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the said City Clerk be, and he
is hereby directed to transmit said map to the Clerk of the Board of
Supervisors of the County of San Diego, State of Califronia.

Subject: Final Map - Chula Vista Gardens, Unit No. 2

CALIFORNIA
At their meeting of October 24, 1866, the City Planning Commission con-
sidered the final map of the Chula Vista Gardens Subdivision, Unit No. 2.
This unit contains 31 single-family lots and is located at the west end of
the subdivision at the northwest corner of East Oxford Street and Nolan Avenue.
The Commission recommends approval of the map subject to the following
conditions:
1. The final map shall not be submitted for Council action until all fees
are paid and all necessary bonds, deeds, slope rights and easements as
required by the City Engineer have been delivered to the City.
2. The subdivider shalt provide written evidence of having entered into an
agreement with California-American Water Company to provide water within
the subdivision prior to submission of the map for Council consideration.
3. Right of way to the south of the subdivision boundary, in addition to that
shown on the final map for East Oxford Street, must be acquired and dedicated
to the City by the subdivider to provide at least a minimum acceptable street
width. Such additional right-of-way must be submitted in fully executed
form prior to scheduling of this map for Council consideration.
