HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso 1967-4361" Fbrm No. 330 RESOLUTION N0. 4361 RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CHULA VISTA PROVIDING FOR THE SPECIAL APPROPRIATION OF FUNDS TO PERMIT THE CHIEF OF POLICE TO ATTEND THE NATIONAL CRIME CONFERENCE TO BE HELD IN WASHINGTON, D.C. ON MARCH 28 AND 29, 1967 The City Council of the City of Chula Vista does hereby resolve as follows: WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Chula Vista is authorized by the City Charter, Section 1105, to amend or supplement the annual city budget by the affirmative votes of at least four members at any meeting after its adoption, and WHEREAS, the National Crime Conference will be held in Washington, D. C., on March 28 and 29, 1967, and WHEREAS, it has been determined that the attendance of the Chief of Police of the City of Chula Vista at said Conference will be beneficial to the administration of the Police Department of said City and advantageous to the community as a whole. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Chula Vista that the sum of $ 375.00 from the unappropriated surplus of the General fund for the purpose hereinabove set forth. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Finance Officer be, and he is hereby directed to record this Council action in the accounting records of. the City. Presented by __ ~ ,. Fred A.
