HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso 1967-4492KE50I;UTION N0. 44y'L RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CHULA VISTA AUTHORIZING THE EXTENSION OF THE LEASE AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE COUNTY OF SAN DIEGO AND THE CITY OF CHULA VISTA FOR BUILDING N0. 7 ON THE "F" STREET SCHOOL SITE The City Council of the City of Chula Vista does hereby resolve as follows: WHEREAS, that certain lease agreement by and between the CITY OF CHULA VISTA and the COUNTY OF SAN DIEGO, approved by the City Council by Resolution No. 3795, adopted on the 13th day of July, 1965, and extended by Resolution No. 4122, adopted on the 21st day of June, 1966, is due to expire on the 31st day of July, 1967, and WHEREAS, it is agreed by and between the parties thereto that said agreement be extended for a period of one year, and that the rent for said premises for this period will be Fifty Dollars ($50.00). NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Chula Vista that said lease agreement covering the property more particularly described as: That certain stucco building which is located on County property and is the most northwesterly of seven stucco buildings and appurtenances located on Lots 9 and 16, Quarter Section 137 of Rancho de la Nacion, in the City of Chula Vista, County of San Diego, State of California, be, and the same is hereby extended from the 1st day of August, 1967, to the 31st day of July, 1968, provided, however, that the County may terminate this lease, without penalty, by serving or delivering to the City of Chula Vista written notice of termination at least 90 days prior to the effective date of such termina- tion. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor be, and he is hereby authorized to execute said extension agreement. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk of the City of Chula Vista be, and he is hereby directed to forward a certified copy of this resolution to the Board of Supervisors of the County of San Diego.
