NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Chula Vista that said Council does hereby strongly urge the Legislature to oppose the adoption of Senate Bill 876, as amended, and respectfully requests that the matter of dedication of park sites as provided in the State Subdivision Map Act be carefully reviewed by an interim committee of the Assembly or the Senate and revised in such a manner so as to fairly and equitably impose the burden of providing such sites upon the developers of new subdivisions. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk of the City of Chula Vista be, and he is hereby directed to forward certified copies of this resolution to all members of the Legislative Delegation of the County of San Diego.
