HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso 1967-4598 RESOLUTION N0. 4598 RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CHULA VISTA GRANTING THE APPEAL OF COUNTY PROPERTIES, INC., FOR A CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT FOR A COIN-OPERATED AUTOMATIC CAR WASH ON THE EAST SIDE OF WOODLAWN AVENUE, 150 FEET SOUTH OF "E" STREET The City Council of the City of Chula Vista does hereby resolve as follows: WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has heretofore held a public hearing on the application of County Properties, Inc., for a conditional use permit for a coin-operated automatic car wash on the east side of Woodlawn Avenue, 150 feet south of "E" Street, and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission denied the request for said conditional use permit and the applicant did thereafter appeal said denial to the City Council, and WHEREAS, the City Council has heretofore held a public hearing on the request for said conditional use permit and thereafter referred the matter back to the Planning Commission for a further report, and WHEREAS, on the 23rd day of October, 1967, the Planning Commission considered the request for a report from the City Council and further analyzed the request for a conditional use permit, and reviewed the additional recommendations of the Planning Department and all documents on file in connection with said application for a conditional use permit, and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission, in their letter of October 25, 1967, now recommends that the City Council should act favorably upon said appeal and grant the permit subject to the conditions set forth in their letter of October 25, 1967. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Chula Vista that the appeal of County Properties, Inc., be, and the same is hereby granted pursuant to the findings set forth in the letter of the Planning Commission dated October 25, 1967, and that the conditional use permit be granted subject to the conditions set forth therein.
