BACKGROUND:
In order to promote parking turnover on the north side of
H Street, from the west curb line of Broadway to the east
curb line of Jefferson Avenue, signs for 2 -hour parking
from 8 A. M. to 6 P. M. were installed on a trial basis
approximately 8 months ago. The regulation has been
functioning satisfactorily.

In the area described above all day parkers are utilizing much of the
curb space. The regulation is being placed to provide for a parking
turnover for the benefit of the business establishments in this
vicinity.
This regulation has been functioning satisfactorily for approximately
8 months and it is recommended that it be made permanent. It has also
been reviewed and approved by the Safety Commission.
