HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso 1968-4815Form No~ 348 Rev- 7-67 RESOLUTION Nom. 4815 RESOLUTION OF' THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CHULA VISTA APPROVING MAP OF' MESTLER MANOR UNIT N0. 3 ACCEP'TINv ON BEHALF OF THE PUBLIC THE PUBLIC STREETS DEDI- CATED ON SAID MAP, AND ACCEP°TING ON BEHALr OF THE CITY OF CHULA VISTA THE EASEMENTS GRANTED ON SAID MAP WITHIN SAID SUBDIVISION The City Council of the City of Chula Vista does hereby resolve as follows: NOW, `THEREFORE, BE IT RESuL~JED that the Council of the City of Chula Vista hereby finds that that certain map survey entitled MESTLER MANOR UNIT NO. 3 and more particularly described as follows: Being a subdivision of a portion of the North Half of the Southwest Quarter of Quarter Section 94, in Rancho de la Nacion, in the City of Chula Vista, County of San Diego, State of California, according to Map No. 166 by Morrill, in the Office of the County Recorder of San Diego County, and further delineated on Sheets 2 and 3. Area: 6.599 Acres Number of Lots: 27 is made in the manner and form prescribed by law and conforms to the surrounding surveys; and that said map and subdivision of land shown thereon is hereby approved and accepted. BE T`T FURTHER RESOLVED that sa~.d Council hereby accepts on behalf of the public the public streets, to-wit: EAST NAPLES STREET, MELROSE AVENUE, CHERYL PLACE and MONTEREY AVENUE, and said streets are hereby declared to be public streets and dedicated to the public use BE TT F`URT'HER RESOLVED that said Council hereby accepts on behalf of the City of Chula Vista the easements with the right of n- gress and egress for the construction of sewer, drainage, street tree planting and public utilities, all as granted and shown on said map within said subdivision, subject to the conditions set forth thereon. BE IT FUR'T'HER RESOLVED that the City Clerk. of the City of Chula Vista be, and he is hereby authoriGed and directed to endorse upon said map the action of said Council; that said Council has approved said subdivision map, and that said public streets are ac- cepted on behalf of the public as heretofore stated, and that those certain easements with the right of ingress anal egress for the con- struction and maintenance of sewer and drainage facilities, street tree planting, and public utilities as granted thereon and shown on said map within said. subdivision are accepted on behalf of the City of Chula Vista as hereinabove stated BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk be, and he is hereby directed to transmit said map to the Clerk of the Board of Supervisors of the County of San Diego, California Presented by ,- i L n~ e F. '~ ~~ mw DEPARTMENT OF PLANNING June 4, 1968 ~P ~ ~J. ..r~.~cL 's,.~~... rl +s tf The Honorable Mayor and City Council of the City of Chula Vista Civic Center Chula Vista, California ('qty o~ C~nuQa CU~sta CALIFORNIA Subject: Final map - Mestler Manor, Units 3 and 4 Gentlemen: At their meeting of June 3, 1968, the City Planning Commission considered the final map of Mestler Manor, Units 3 and 4, located on the south side of East Naples Street and east of Monserate Avenue, comprising 54 single-family lots on 13 acres. The Commission recommended approval of the final map based on the following conditions: 1. Bonds for improvement of Unit No. 4 shall be submitted simultaneously with the bonds for Unit No. 3. 2. The final map shall not be submitted for Council action until all fees are paid and all necessary bonds, deeds, slope rights and easements, as required by the City Engineer, have been delivered to the City.
