RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF I'HE CITY OF CHULA VISTA
APPROVING MAP OF FLAIR SUBDIVISION, UNIT N0. 3
ACCEP'T'INu ON BEHALF OF THE PUBLIC THE PUBLIC STREETS DEDI-
CATED ON SAID MAP, AND ACCEPTING ON BEHALr OF THE CITY OF
CHULA VIS`T'A THE EASEMENTS GRANTED ON SAID MAP WITHIN SAID
SUBDIVISION
The City Council of the City of Chula Vista does hereby
resolve as follows:
NOW, THERE'r'ORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Council of the City
of Chula Vista hereby finds that that certain map survey entitled
Flair Subdivision, Unit No. 3
and more particularly described as follows:
Being a subdivision in Rancho de la
of Chula Vista, County of San Diego,
according to Map thereof No. 166, by
the office of the County Recorder of
May 11, 1869, and further delineated

State of California,
Morrill, filed in
San Diego County,
on Sheets 2, 3, and
Acreage: 22.08685 Number of Lots: 78
is made in the manner and form prescribed by law and conforms to the
surrounding surveys; and that said map and subdivision of land shown
thereon is hereby approved and accepted.
BE I`I' FURTHER RESOLVED that said Council hereby accepts on
behalf of the public the public streets, to-wit: OLEANDER AVENUE,
WISTERIA STREET, LILAC AVENUE, LAUREL AVENUE, HIBISCUS COURT and
AZALEA STREET,
and said streets are hereby declared to be public streets and dedicated
to the public usee
BE I`I' FURTHER RESOD%ED that said Council hereby accepts on
behalf of the City of Chula Vista the easements with the right of in-
gress and egress for the construction of sewer, drainage, street tree
planting and public utilities, all as granted and shown on said map
within said subdivision, subJect to the conditions set forth thereon.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk. of the City of
Chula Vista be, and he is hereby authorized and directed to endorse
upon said map the action of said Council; that said Council has
approved said subdivision map, and that said public streets are ac-
cepted on behalf of the public as heretofore stated, and that those
certain easements with the right of ingress anal egress for the con-
struction and maintenance of sewer and drainage facilities, street
tree planting, and public ~;~tilities as granted thereon and shown on
said map within said subdivision are accepted on behalf of the City
of Chula Vista as hereinabove stated,.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk be, and he is
hereby directed to transmit said map to the Clerk of the Board of
Supervisors of the County of San Diego, Cal~forniao

Subject: Final Map - Flair Subdivision, Unit No. 3
Gentlemen:
At their meeting of June 3, 1968, the City Planning Commission
considered the final map of Flair Subdivision, Unit No. 3,
located north of Orange Avenue and east of the proposed Inter-
state 8. This unit contains 78 lots on 22 acres.
The Commission recommended approval of the final map based on the
following conditions:
1. The final map shall not be submitted for Council action until
all fees are paid and all necessary bonds, deeds, slope rights and
easements, as required by the City Engineer, have been delivered to
the City.
2. The subdivider shall present to the Engineering Department
evidence of having deeded that small portion of property east of
Lot 141 and outside the subdivision boundary to the adjacent
property owner.
3. Before planting is done on the slopes of, or adjacent to, the
open space to be dedicated to the City, a landscape plan and specif-
ications for same shall be submitted to the staff Landscape Planner
for approval.
