OF TIE CITY COLTNCIL VISTA M.ODIFYITIC' THE PROVISIONS OF THE CHULA VISTA CITY CODE [~7 MAXID!fUP~i PERCENTAGE OF DRIVEWAY SAID REniJIREMENTS T^]ITH RESPECT LOCATED A.T 230 DEL N!AR IN SAID OF TIIE CITY OF CHULA OF SECTION 27.19(4) ITH RESPECT TO THE FRONTAGE AND [ti7A.IVI1`dG TO THE PROPERTY CITY The City Council of the City of Chula Vista does herebv resolve as follows G]HEREAS, Section 27.20 of the Chula Vista City Code authorizes the City Council. to modify the limitations contained in Section 27.19 of said Code, a.nd WHEREAS, Mr. B. I. Gentry has heretofore requested a waiver of the requirements of_ Section 27.19(4) of the Chula Vista City Code to allow him to have a twenty-foot (25') c?rivewav openincr on th.e prone=rty located at 230 Del Mar in order to provide access to the off..-street parking for the a.par.tment units located on said property, which amounts to 500 of the property frontage or 5o more than per- mited by Section 27.19(4.) of the Chula Vista City Code, and ti~vTHEREAS, the Director of Public Works ha.s considered said request, and recommends to the City Council the waiver of.. the require- ments of said section, based iipor~ the fact that the additional driveway frontage will not constitute a x~edestrian or vehicular ha.zard., and that strict application of the provisions of. Section 27.19(4) would create particular difficulties and prove an unnecessary hardship for the broperty owner. NO[D], THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Chula Vista. that the maximum limitation of_ 4rive~aay frontage, as set forth in Section 27.19 (d) of the Chula Vista City Code be, and. the same is herebv waived. insofar as the property loca.tec~ a.t 230 Del Mar in said City is concerned, and. that the r'riveway frontage max~.mum.
