RESOLUTION OF TINI=' CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CHt1LP,.
VISTA, OF.DERING THE VACATION OF A PORTION OF '°G"
STREET IN SAID CITY
The City Council of the City of Chula Vista does hereby resolve
as .f_ollows
WHEREAS, by Resolution No. 4881, adopted on the ?.0th da.y of
August, 1968, notice of intention to vacate and close a portion of '°G"
Street in the City of Chula Vista was given, and
~~'HEREAS, Tuesday, the 10th. day of September, 1968, at 7,00 p.m.
in the Council Chambers of the City of Chula Vista were fixed as the time
and. place for hearing an_v objections to such closir_a and vacating, and
the Council having heard all interested persons, and ha.vincx furht.er con-
tinued said. hearing to Tuesday, the 17th day of September, 1968 at 700 x~.m.
in the Council Chambers of the City of Chula Vista for the purpose of tal{incr
further testimony, and
T~~HFREAS, all relevant testimony an_d. evidence having been heard
a.nd weighed by the City Council, the Council has determined that the general
Plan for street improvements in the area bounded by ".F'" Street on the north,
"J" Street on the south, Tidelands on the ~~~est, a.nd west Bay Boulevard on
the east eliminates the necessity for present and future use of the portion
of "G" Street herein consiNered for vacation for public street purposes.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that said order of vacation shall become
effective at and upon such date a.s adecruate access to the tidelands area
in the vicinity her.ei_nabove descrirec~ has been effected, either by (1) the
dedication of the permanent alignment o.f_ that portion of Tidelands Avenue,
northerly of the presently dedicated and improved portion of Tidela.nd.s
Avenue, extending from "~'° Street to "F" Street., which is necessary to
provide a fully dedicated means of access from the northerl~~ direction, or
by (?.) the fuJ_1 dedication of that portion of "J" Street from the freeway
to the intersection with Tidelands Avenue, and the dedication of the permanent
alignment of that portion of Tidelands Avenue southerly of the presently
dedicated and improved portion of Tidelands Avenue necessary to accomblish
a fully dedicated means of_ access from. the south, and the completion of
necessary improvezn.ents of said dedicated. streets to provide permanent
access in a manner_ satisfactory to the Director of Public T~7orks, which
improvement need not necessarily be the full and complete improvement as
contemplated for the ultimate development, but must provide permanent and
adecruate access to that area of the tidelands located westerly of Tidelands
Avenue, in conformance with. City standards and specifications.
BE IT FURTIiER RESOLVED that upon such acceptance by the Director
of Public Works of the City of Chula Vista of such permanent access routes
frorn either the north via Tidelands Avenue or the south via "J" Street,
whichever is earlier in time, this order of vacation of "G°' Street shall
be final.
