Home My WebLink AboutReso 1969-5074RESOLUTION N0. 5074 RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CHULA VISTA RELINQUISHING LIEN ON A PORTION OF PROPERTY OWNED BY THE CALVARY BAPTIST CHURCH SECURING INSTALLATION OF CERTAIN PUBLIC IMPROVEMENTS AT 2703 BONITA ROAD IN THE CITY OF CHULA VISTA The City Council of the City of Chula Vista does hereby resolve as follows: WHEREAS, the Calvary Baptist Church has heretofore entered into an agreement with the City of Chula Vista dated June 22, 1966, which agreement authorized the foreclosure of a lien upon property more particularly described as follows: The Easterly 15 acres of the Northwest Quarter of Quarter Section 111 of Rancho do la Nacion, in the County of San Diego, State of California, according to Map thereof No. 166 made by George Morrill on file in the office of the County Recorder of San Diego County. Excepting therefrom that portion thereof of the Northerly line of the public road width as described in deed to the County and recorded in Book 5976, page 32 and B• page 478 of Official Records, the center 60.00 foot strip of land being described lying Southerly 60 feet in of San Diego Kok 6191, line of said as follows: Beginning at a point on the West line of said Quarter Section 111 of the Rancho do la Nacion, distant thereon South 17°49' East 347.40 feet from the North- west corner of said Quarter Section; thence North 71°37' East 640.36 feet to the beginning of a tangent curve to the right having a radius of 700 feet; thence Easterly along said curve through a central angle of 16°38'50" a distance of 203.38 feet; thence tangent to said curve North 88°15'50" East 1031.97 feet to the beginning of a tangent curve to the left having a radius of 1000 feet; thence Easterly along said curve through a central angle of 7°54'30" a distance of 138.03 feet; thence tangent to said curve North 80°21'20" East 268.46 feet to the beginning of a tangent curve to the right having a radius of 500 feet; thence Easterly along said curve through a central angle of 18°21'40" a distance of 160.26 feet; thence tangent to said curve South 81°17' East 312.79 feet to a point on the East line of said Quarter Section 111, distant thereon South 18°01'40" East 941.42 feet from the Northeast corner of said Quarter Section 111. If and in the event that certain public improvements were not instal- led on direction of the Director of Public Works, and WHEREAS, a portion of said property is being acquired for right-of-way purposes by the State of California, Division of High- ways, and WHEREAS, the City of Chula Vista agrees to relinquish all lien rights as described herein above and contained in that certain agreement as approved by Resolution No. 4141, adopted by the City Council on the 5th day of July, 1966, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Chula Vista that said City does hereby relinquish all lien rights on that portion of property owned by the Calvary Baptist Church and more particularly described as follows: All that portion of the Easterly 15 acres of the Northwest quarter of Quarter Section 111 of Rancho do la Nacion, according to Map thereof No. 166 made by George Morrill on file in the office of the County Recorder of San Diego County, described as follows: Beginning at the North Quarter Corner of Section 111, thence (1) 5.17°39'09"E., along the Easterly line of the Northwest quarter of said quarter section a distance of 106.15 feet; thence (2) N.63°39'48"W., 33.36 feet; thence (3) N.43°32'53"W., 61.85 feet; thence (4) N.58°52'56"W., 35.58 feet to the Northerly line of said quarter section; thence (5) N.71°54'05"E., along last said line a di=stance of 74.47 feet tc; the point of beginning. Containing 0.093 acre, more or less. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk of the City of Chula Vista be, and he is hereby directed to present a certified copy of this resolution to the Office of the County Recorder in the County of San Diego.
