RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CHULA
VISTA, EXTENDING THAT CERTAIN CONTRACT WITH BAKER &
TAYLOR COMPANY FOR THE CITY'S ANNUAL REQUIREMENT OF
LIBRARY BOOKS
The City Council of the City of Chula Vista does hereby
resolve as follows:
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Chula Vista, by
Resolution No. 4791, adopted on the 11th day of June, 1968, awarded
a contract for the City's annual requirement of library books for
the fiscal year 1968-69 to Baker & Taylor Company, and
WHEREAS, said contract contains an option to renew same
for another year on the same terms and conditions contained therein,
and the City Librarian and Purchasing Agent have recommended that
said option be exercised.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Chula Vista that that certain contract by and between the City
of Chula Vista and Baker & Taylor Company be, and the same is hereby
extended under the same terms and conditions contained therein to
cover the City's requirements for library books for the fiscal year
1969-70.
