HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso 1969-5263RESOLUTION NO. 5263 RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CHULA VISTA APPROVING AND ADOPTING AMENDMENTS TO RULE II OF THE CIVIL SERVICE RULES AND REGULP_TIONS The City Council of the City of Chula Vista does hereby resolve as follows: WHEREAS, the City C upon the recommendation of sections of Rule II of the establish a classification ranges of compensation for the City, and ~uncil of the City of Chula Vista has annually, the Civil Service Commission, amended those Civil Service Rules and Regulations which and compensation or salary plan and assign all classified employees in the service of WHEREAS, the Civil Service Commission has heretofore submitted a Classification and Compensation Plan for the Fiscal Year 1969-70, and WHEREAS, the Civil Service Commission has heretofore recommended certain changes in said Rule II of the Civil Service Rules relating to advancement within range, and WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed. said Classification and Compensation Plan for the Fiscal Year 1969-70 and the recommended amendments to said Rule II and concurs with the recommendations set forth herein. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Chula Vista that the Classification and Compensation Plan for the Fiscal Year 1969-70, a copy of which is attached hereto and by this reference made a part hereof be, and the same is hereby approved and adopted., and Rule II of the Civil Service Rules and Regulations is hereby amended to reflect such revisions. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Personnel Officer be, and he is hereby directed to cause such changes and modifications to be in- corporated in the Rules and Regulations of_ the Civil Service Commission.
