HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso 1969-5239 RESOLUTION NO. 5239 RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CHULA VISTA APPROVING THE ADOPTION OF THE FINAL BUDGET OF THF_, CITY OF CHULA VISTA FOR THE FISCAL YEAR BEGINNING JULY 1, 1969 AND ENDING JUNE 30, 1970 WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of_ the Charter of the City of Chula Vista, Sections 1104 and 1105, the City Council is required to adopt a budget for the fiscal year beginning July 1, 1969 and ending June 30, 1970, and WHEREAS, the City Council has prepared and filed with. the City Clerk its tentative budget, and WHEREAS, due notice has been Given by the City Clerk, as re- quired by law, that said tentative budget is on file and open to inspection by anyone interested, and WHEREAS, a hearing has been held on said tentative budget as required by law. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that unclassified positions be increased in the 1969-70 budget as follows: Administrative Officer to $22.,704.00 Finance Officer to 18,660.00 City Attorney to 21,612.00 Secretary to Admin. Officer. to 8,148.00 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the appropriations above are approved as the budget for the 1969-70 fiscal year_ and that the Administrative Officer and the Finance Officer be authorized to transfer appropriations within the control accounts provided no change is made in the total amount provided for any one department. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Finance Officer from time to time may invest temporarilyidle funds from any one fund in legal investments provided by law for charter cities.
