RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CHULA VISTA
ACCEPTING THAT CERTAIN OPTION EXECUTED BY DEWEY A. WRIGHT
FOR THE PURCHASE OF CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY IN THE CITY OF
CHULA VISTA
The City Council of the City of Chula Vista does hereby
resolve as follows:
That that certain option, executed by DEWEY A. WRIGHT,
granting to the City of Chula Vista the option to purchase certain
real property in said City described as:
Lot 2, Block D, Thompson's Subdivision, according to Map
thereof No. 1197;
on or before the 14th day of June, 1967 at 10:00 a.m., a copy of
which option is attached hereto and incorporated herein, the same as
though fully set forth herein be, and the same is hereby accepted.

OPTION TG PURCHASE REAL PROPERTY
Know ail men by these presents, that DEWEY A. WRIGHT, for
and in consideration of the sum of $1.00 in hand paid, receipt
of which is hereby acknowledged, from the CITY OF CHULA VISTA,
a municipal corporation under the laws of the State of California,
hereinafter called "Optionee," whose postoffice address is 276
Guava Avenue, Chula Vista, have agreed and do hereby agree to hold
until the 14th day of June, 1967, at 10:00 a.m., time being of the
essence of this agreement, an option, subject to the order of the
Optionee, to purchase the following described real property, to wit:
Lot 2, Block D, Thompson's Subdivision, according to Map
thereof.~o. 1197:
and said DEWEY A. WRIGHT, Optionor, covenants to convey by grant
deed the said property at any time within the time above described,
to uptionee or such person o-r persons as Optionee may direct, for
a_nd at the price of THIi~TEEN THJUSA~iD DOLLARS ( $13 , 000.00) , payable
on or before the date specified above, without interest, subject,
however, to the further requirement that this option shall be of no
effect and no rights sb~a11 inure to Opti_onee or any other person or
persons hereunder or by virtue of gray purported exercise of this
option, unless within the time limit written notice of exercise of
this option shall be delivered to the Optionor.
In the event that the holder or holders of this option shall
decide to purchase the said property at the above price and terms
within t'ne said time, then and in that event the said amount paid
for this option shall be credited upon the said purchase price, but
in the event the holder or holders hereof do r_ot conclude the purchase
above set forth within the time limited, then and in that event the
said amount paid for this option shall be retained by the undersigned
ir_ full satisfaction for holding the property subject to the said
order for the said time.
