The re- location necessitated the reconstruction of the railway's spur track east and west of I-5. In accordance with the agreement between the State and the railway company, the highway department purchased property for the new spur track and deeded such property to SD&AE Railway Company. The frontage road running north of "F" Street on the west side of I-5 Freeway crosses this spur track right of way. The railway company is now offering an easement to the City for the portion of the frontage road crossing their right of way. The easement provides the City the right to construct, re- construct, maintain and use the property described therein for street purposes. It is now in order to accept the easement and authorize the Mayor to execute the document on behalf of the City. At the completion of the I-5 improvements, the State will transfer the frontage road to the City street system. See EXHIBITS [ ] Ldo. Financial Statement: Not applicable.
