RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CHULA VISTA
AMENDING RESOLUTION N0. 5239 TO CORRECT AN ERROR IN THE
FINAL BUDGET OF THE CITY OF CHULA VISTA FOR THE FISCAL YEAR
BEGINNING JULY 1, 1969 AND ENDING JUNE 30, 1970
The City Council of the City of Chula Vista does hereby resolve
as follows:
WHEREAS, Resolution No. 5239 adopting the final budget of the
City of Chula Vista for the fiscal year beginning July 1, 1969 and
ending June 30, 1970 has been found to contain an omission, i.e.,
funds required for the purchase of the County owned portion of the
"F" Street School Site.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Chula Vista that said Resolution No. 5239 approved by the City Council
of the City of Chula Vista on June 17, 1969 be, and the same is hereby
amended in the following manner and in no other way.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that out of the estimated unappropriated
surplus account of the General Fund for the fiscal year of 1969-70,
at least $602,950.00 be reserved for Capital Development purposes as
scheduled in the General Fund budget and that at least $245,000.00 be
reserved for the acquisition of the County owned portion of the "F"
Street School Site which acquisition is scheduled in the General Fund
budget.
