Fees. initiated uy : City ~~ianager Attached is a copy of Resolution [x] Ordinance [ ] Agreement [ ] Plat [ ] Ba.ckgr_ound: On August 3, 1972, the Community Development Representative of MUD notified this office that i.t had approved the request of the City of Chula Vista. to utilize the proposed Larkhaven Park Site as an alternative to the "defunct" Harborside Park Site in the Parks-in-Cities grant (OSC 456). HUD requested two (2) immediate tasks to be performed by the City: 1. Execution of a contract evidencing above mentioned grant. This was done at the Council meeting of August 8, 1972. 2. Secure two (2) independent appraisals of the property in or. der to justify the expenditure of the grant acquisition cost originally allocated for Harborside. This resolution provides for the employment of the appraisers and directs staff to bring back a subsequent resolution appropriating funds for the appraisals. This office has on file a letter from the appraiser(s) stipulating that the total cost for both appraisals wi_11 not exceed $2,000. See EXIiIBITS [ ] Pdo. Financial Statement: N.A. The fee for both appraisals shall not exceed Two Thousand Dollars. The appraisals will be done by Tod Carter, and F. Donald Merrill.
