Home My WebLink AboutReso 1969-5445 RESOLUTION NO. 5445 RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CHULA VISTA IMPOSING RULES AND REGULATIONS GOVERNING THE MOVEMENT OF VEHICLES AS CONTAINED BY THE TRAFFIC CODE OF THE CITY OF CHULA VISTA AND THE CALIFORNIA VEHICLE CODE ON A CERTAIN PARKING LOT LOCATED AT THE BONITA VILLAGE SHOPPING CENTER The City Council of the City of Chula Vista does hereby resolve as follows: WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Chula Vista has determined, after public hearing, that the parking lot at the Bonita Village Shopping Center, legally described as the Southwest Quarter of Quarter Section 73 according to Map No. 166, filed in the office of the County Recorder, County of San Diego, State of California, known as Tax Assessors Parcel #591-252-2, is of such a nature and character so as to constitute an openly and publicly used parking lot, allowing the public movement of vehicles thereon, and WHERWAS, the City Council of the City of Chula Vista has further determined that it is in the public interest to regulate the movement of vehicles thereon. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Chula Vista hereby imposes and makes applicable all provisions of the Traffic Code of the City of Chula Vista and the California Vehicle Code including, but not limited to, parking and stopping regulations, speed and movement of vehicles. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this resolution shall become effective upon the posting of signs required in Article 24, Section 19.2402(3) of the City Code, Pres~-rated by Approved as to form by `~ane F.
