HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso 1969-5401RESOLUTION NO. 5401 RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CHULA VISTA ELECTING TO PROCEED UNDER SECTION 19.2402 OF THE CHULA VISTA CITY CODE DECLARING THE INTENTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CHULA VISTA TO IMPOSE RULES AND REGULATIONS GOVERNING THE MOVEMENT OF VEHICLES AS CONTAINED IN THE TRAFFIC CODE OF THE CITY OF CHULA VISTA AND THE CALIFORNIA VEHICLE CODE ON A CERTAIN PARKING LOT LOCATED AT THE NORTHEASTERLY CORNER OF THE INTERSECTION OF OTAY LAKES ROAD AND GOTHAM STREET The City Council of the City of Chula Vista does hereby resolve as follows: WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Chula Vista has been requested by Kelton Title Corporation and Bollenbacher & Kelton, Inc., the Owners of a certain shopping center parking lot located at the northeasterly corner of the intersection of Otay Lakes Road and Gotham Street legally described as Lot 152 of Southwestern College Estates, Unit No. 1, Map No. 4961, to impose rules and regulations governing the movement of vehicles as con- tained in the Traffic Code of the City of Chula Vista and the California Vehicle Code upon said parking lot pursuant to the provisions of Section 19.2402. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that it is the intention of the City Council of the City of Chula Vista to impose rules and regulations governing the movement of vehicles as contained in the Traffic Code of the City of Chula Vista and the California Vehicle Code upon the Owners of a certain shopping center parking lot lo- cated at the northeasterly corner of the intersection of Otay Lakes Road and Gotham Street legally described as Lot 152 of Southwestern College Estates, Unit No. 1, Map No. 4961. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Chula Vista hereby elects to proceed under the provisions of Section 19.2402 in imposinq said rules and regulations and hereby fixes the hour of 7:00 P.M. the 18th day of November , 1969, in the Council Chambers in the Civic Center, 276 Guava Avenue, Chula Vista, California, as the time and place for hearing all persons interested in or objecting to establishing such rules and regulations.
