HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso 1970-5560Form No. 362 RESOLUTION NO. 5560 RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CHULA VISTA APPROVING AND GRANTING EASEMENT TO CALIFORNIA-AMERICAN WATER COMPANY AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE SAID GRANT OF EASEMENT The City Council of the City of Chula Vista does hereby resolve as followse That the City of Chula Vista does hereby grant certain easement to California-American Water Company for existing water lines a copy of which is attached hereto and by this reference made a part hereof, the same as though fully set forth herein. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor of the City of Chula Vista be, and he is hereby authorized to execute same for and on behalf of the City of Chula Vista. Pres ted by i~ r ~'~ ~, ~~ane F. DATED City Cleric ~- SS~~ ~} EAS~dENT The CITY OF CHLTLA VISTA, a municipal corporation, for and in consideration of the sum of ,One Dollar ($1.00), receipt of which is hereby acknowledged, does hereby grant to CALIFORNIA-AMERICAN WATER COMPANY, a California corporation, its successors and assigns, an easement for the purposes of installing, repairing, maintaining .and/ or renewing a water main and appurtenances thereto, over, along, across, through and undQr portions of Quarter Sections 113 and 122 of the Rancho de la Nacion according to map thereof No. 166 filed in the office of the County P,ecorder of San Diego County, California, being a 15 foot strip, 7.5 feet each side of the following described centerline: BEGINNING at a point on the easterly line of Quarter Section 122 distant thereon N18°30'30"W a distance. of 488.63 feet from the southeasterly corner of said Quarter Section, said point also being the intersec- tion of the easterly line of said Quarter Section 122 and the westerly line of Hilltop Drive (80 feet wide) as shown on City of Chula Vista Dwg. 56-51L; thence northwesterly along said westerly line of Hilltop Drive N36°48'00"W a distance of 40.52 feet, to the beginning of a 540.00 foot radius curve con- . cave northeasterly; thence northwesterly along the arc of said curve through a central angle of 0°47'17" a distance of 7.43 feet to the TRUE POINT OF BEGINNING: thence leaving said westerly line of Hilltop Drive, bearing S18°30'30"E, parallel to and 15 feet westerly of said easterly line of said Quarter Section 122, a distance of 174.03 feet to the beginning of a 500.00 foot radius reverse curve, concave northeasterly; thence along the arc of said curve, through a central angle of 11°30'00", a dis- tance of 100.36 feet to the point of reverse curva- ture; thence continuing along said 500 foot radius reverse curve, concave southwesterly, through a cen- tral angle of 11°30'00", a distance of 100.36 feet to the end of said reverse curve; thence S18°30'30"E a distance of 30.79 feet to a point, said point being the end of said centerline of a 15 foot strip, the sidelines of said 15 foot strip being shortened and lengthened to terminate at their respective inter- sections with the westerly line of Hilltop Drive, said point also lying N71b39'S3"E a distance of 5.08. ` feet; thence N18°30'30"W a distance of 130.00 feet from the southeast corner of said Quarter Section 122.
