[ 14 ] CHULA VISTA CITY COUNCIL MEETING OF: November 13, 1973 ITEM TITLE: Resolution - Accepting, Naming and Dedicating Grant Deed from Chula Vista City School District as Brandywine Avenue INITIATED BY: Director of Public Works/City Engineer BACKGROUND On October 26, 1973, Chula Vista City School District executed a grant deed granting to the City a 40 foot strip of land for street purposes contiguous to Brandywine Avenue along the frontage of the future elementary school site. This dedication completes the requirements for the full 80 foot width of right of way for Brandywine Avenue at this location. The public improvements consisting of curb, gutter, sidewalk, driveway approach, street lights and street pavement were constructed in accordance with the approved plans and specifications to the satisfaction of the Director of Public Works. The work was completed on October 1, 1973. A transparency is available for Council viewing.
