[ 13 ] CHULA VISTA CITY COUNCIL MEETING OF: September 25 , ~ 1973 ITEM TITLE: Resolution - Rescinding Resolution 6058 and Dedicating and Naming Previously Accepted Real Property for Street Right of Way INITIATED BY: Director of Public Works/City Engineer Rnrxr,Rnrr>\rn On May 18, 1971, by Resolution 6058, the City Council dedicated for public right of way eleven parcels of land previously acquired by quitclaim deeds and named such dedication Arizona Street. At the time of this dedication and naming, a portion of the property involved was not included within the boundaries of this City, although a 1911 Act street improvement was being prepared by this office with the consent of the County of San Diego. It was subsequently determined that the action of dedication and naming the property prior to its annexation to the City was improper. This land, which was obtained for use as street right of way, was subsequently included in the Arizona Street 1911 Act annexation. This annexation was completed on September 12, 1972 and filed with the Secretary of State on October 20, 1972, and it is now proper to dedicate and name those parcels previously outside the City. The subject parcels were orig~,.nally accepted by the Council by Resolutions 5913, 6056 and 6057. Resolution 6022 amended 5913 by substituting a corrected description for one parcel.
