RESOLUTION OF T1iE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CHULA VISTA,
CLARIFYING THE NAMES OF CERTAIN STREETS LYIiv'G EAST OF
HILLTOP DRIVE IN THE CITY OF CHULA VISTA
The City Council of the City of Chula Vista does hereby
resolve as follows:
WHEREAS, the street numbering system of the City of Chula
Vista changes at Hilltop Drive, in an easterly direction, utilizing
street names with the prefix "East" if the street continues west of
Hilltop, and
WHEREAS, inconsistencies in the names of streets lying east
of Hilltop presently exist, which inconsistencies create considerable
confusion and the lack of uniformity is adverse to the orderly growth
of the City of Chula Vista.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City
of Chula Vista that, in order to clarify and legalize tine names of
streets lying east of Hilltop, said streets are hereby designated and
named and shall henceforth be known as set forth in Exhibit °'A",
attached hereto and by reference made a part hereof.
BE IT FURTFIER RESOLVED that the Director of Public Works be,
and he is hereby authorized to change such signs as are necessary to
effectuate the intent of this resolution.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk of the City of
Chula Vista be, and he is hereby directed to forward a certified copy
o.f this resolution to the Board of Supervisors of the County of San
Diego.
