RESOLUTION NO& 4627
RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CHULA VISTA
ELECTING I'O PROCEED UNDER THE PROVISIONS OF THE STREET'
VACATION ACT OF 1941, DECLARING THE INTENTION OF THE CITY
COUNCIL OF 'THE CITY OF CHULA VISTA TO VACATE A PORTION OF
QUINTARD STREET AND TOBIAS DRIVE
AND FIXING A TIME AND PLACE FOR HEARING THEREON
The City Council of the City of Chula Vista does hereby
resolve as follows:
WHEREASF the City Council of the City of Chula Vista has
determined that the public interest and convenience of said City re-
quire the vacation of portions of Quintard Street and Tobias Drive.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that it is the intention of
the City Council to order the vacation of a portion of Quintard
Street and Tobias Drive,
more particularly described in Exhibit "A" attached hereto and by this
reference made a part hereof, the same as though fully set forth herein.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Council of the City of Chula
Vista hereby elects to proceed in making said vacation under the pro-
visions of the Street Vacation Act of 1941, and hereby fixes Tuesday ,
the 9th day of January 196g , in the Council Chambers in
the Civic Center, 276 Guava Avenue, Chula Vista, California, as the time
and place for hearing all persons interested in or objecting to the pro-
posed vacation.
BE IT FUR'T'HER RESOLVED that the City Clerk of the City of
Chula Vista be, and he is hereby directed to cause a copy of this resol-
ution to be published once in the Chula Vista Star News, a newspaper of
general circulation published within the City of Chula Vista, and to
cause notices of the passage of this resolution to be posted in the
manner and form required by law.

QUINTARD STREET
Those portions of Quintard Street, as shown on the map of Chula Vista,
filed in the office of the County Recorder of the County of San Diego,
State of California on March 13, 1888 as Map No. 505, lying within the
following described boundaries:
PARCEL A: BEGINNING at a point on the NortYl line of Lot 4, Quarter
Section 118 of said Map 505, distant thereon, South 71°29'40" ;Nest, 2.65
feet from the Northeast corner of said Lot 4; thence along said North
line, South 71°29'40" West, 590.41 feet to a point on the arc of a 20
foot radius curve, concave Southeasterly, the center of which bears
South 78°30'20" East from said point; thence Northeasterly along the
arc of said curve, through a central angle of 60°00', 20.94 feet;
thence tangent to said curve, along a line which is parallel to and
distant 10 feet, measured at right angles, from said North line of
Lot 4, North 71°29'40" East, 555.79 feet to the beginning of a tangent
20 foot radius curve, concave Southwesterly, thence Southeasterly along
the arc of said curve, through a central angle of 60°00', 20.94 feet
to the POINT OF BEGINNING.
PARCEL B. BEGINNING at a point on the South line of Lot 29, Quarter
Section 119 of said Map 505, distant thereon South 71°29'40" West, 2.71
feet from the Southeast corner of said Lot 29; thence along said South
line, South 71!29'40" West, 585.38 feet to a point on the arc of a 20
foot radius curve, concave Northeasterly, the center of which bears
North 41°29'40" East from said point; thence Southeasterly along the
arc of said curve, through a central angle of 60°00', 20.94 feet; thence
tangent to said curve, along a line which is parallel to and distant
10 feet, measured at right angles, from said North line of Lot 29, North
71°29'40" East, 550.74 feet to the beginning of a tangent 20 foot radius
curve, concave Northwesterly; thence, Northeasterly along the arc of
said curve, through a central angle of 60°00', 20.94 feet to the POINT
OF BEGINNING.
TOBIAS DRIVE
Those portions of Tobias Drive, as granted to the County of San Diego
by deed recorded August 14, 1928, in Book 1521, page 37 of deeds, lying
within the following described boundaries:
BEGINNING at a point on the North line of Lot 4, Quarter Section 118
of the map of Chula Vista filed in the office of the County Recorder of
the County of San Diego, State of California on March 13, 1888 as Map
No. 505, distant thereon North 71°29'40" East, 30.00 feet from the
Northwest corner of said Lot 4; thence, along a line which is parallel
to and distant 30.00 feet, measured at right angles, from the West line
of said Lot 4, South 18°39'10" East,330.00 feet to an intersection with
the South line of said Lot 4; thence, along said South line, South 71°
29'40" West, 5.00 feet; thence, along a line which is parallel to and
distant 25.00 feet, measured at right angles, from said West line of
Lot 4, North 18°39'10" Guest, 319.95 feet to the beginning of a tangent
20 foot radius curve, concave Easterly; thence, Northerly along the arc
of said curve, through a central angle of 30°08'50", 10.52 feet to an
intersection with said North line of Lot 4; thence, along said North
line, North 71°29'40" East, 2.30 feet to the POINT OF BEGINNING.
