RESOLUTION NO. 4578
RESOLUTION OF 'THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CHULA VISTA
PROVIDING F'OR THE SPECIAL APPROPRIATION OF FUNDS
FOR PARTICIPATION IN THE CONSTRUCTION OF CERTAIN STREET
IMPROVEMENTS ON PALOMAR STREET FROM SECOND AVENUE TO A
POINT 678 FEET EAST
The City Council of the Cir_y of Chula Vista does hereby
resolve as follows:
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Chula Vista is
authorized by Section 1105 of tiie City Charter to amend or supplement
the annual city budget by the affirmative votes of at least four mem-
bers at any meeting after its adoption, and
WHEREAS, the construction of that certain subdivision, lying
wholly in the County of San Diego, known as Norman Subdivision, will
necessitate certain street improvements to be made on Palomar Street from
Second Avenue to a point 678 feet east, in the City of Chula Vista, and
WHEREAS, it is the policy of the City to participate in such
improvements by paying for the construction of 12 feet of pavement ad-
jacent to the center line.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE I"T RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Chula Vista that the sum of $ 3,100.00 be appropriated from
the unappropriated surplus of the 186.1 Gas Tax funds
for the purpose hereinabove set forth"
BE I'T FURTHER RESOLVED that the Finance Officer be, and he
is hereby directed to record this Council action in the accounting
records of the City,
