[ 9 ] CHULA VISTA CITY COUNCIL MEETING OF: September 25, 1973 ITEM TITLE: Resolution - Accepting Bids and Awarding Contract for the Installation of 56 Pedestrian Signal Indications - Gas Tax Project No. 167 INITIATED BY: Director of Public Works/City Engineer ~: nnrvr_onrrnm The Director of Public Works received formal bids at 11:00 A.M. on September 17, 1973 in the Council Chambers for the aforementioned project. Two bids were submitted. The list of bidders and their accompanying bid amounts are listed below. The low bid of $25,530, submitted by Arrow Electric is 10.4 percent below the engineer's estimate of $28,500. Arrow Electric (Lemon Grove) - $25,530.00 Perry Electric (San Diego) - $25,600.00 This contract includes furnishing and installing 56 pedestrian indications at the following intersections. 1.
