RESOLUTION NO. 5758
RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CHULA VISTA
APPROVING MAP OF CHULA VISTA GARDENS UNIT N0. 6
ACCEPTING ON BEHALF OF THE PUBLIC THE PUBLIC STREETS DEDI-
CATED ON SAID MAP, AND ACCEPTING ON BEHALF OF THE CITY OF
CHULA VISTA THE EASEMENTS GRANTED ON SAID MAP WITHIN SAID
SUBDIVTSION
The City Council of the City of Chula Vista does hereby
resolve as follows:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Council of the City
of Chula Vista hereby finds that that certain map survey entitled
CHULA VISTA GARDENS UNIT NO. 6
and more particularly described as follows:
Being a subdivision of a portion of the northeast quarter
of Section 93 of Rancho de la Nacion, in the City of Chula
Vista, County of San Diego, State of California, according
to Map thereof No. 166 made by Morrill, on file in the
office of the County Recorder of San Diego County May 11,
1869, and a portion of Lot F of Mylo Ocean View Estates
Unit No. 1, in the City of Chula Vista, County of San Diego,
State of California, according to Map thereof No. 4201,
filed in the office of the County Recorder of San Diego
County on June 1, 1959 and further delineated on sheets
2, 3 and 4.
Area: 13.425 acres No. of Lots: 57
is made in the manner and form prescribed by law and conforms to the
surrounding surveys; and that said map and subdivision of land shown
thereon is hereby approved and accepted.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that said Council hereby accepts on
behalf of the public the public streets, to-wit: NACION AVENUE, OAK
COURT, PECAN PLACE, EAST PALOMAR STREET, AND A PORTION OF EAST ONEIDA
STREET ,
and said streets are hereby declared to be public streets and dedicated
to the public use.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that said Council hereby accepts on
behalf of the City of Chula Vista the easements with the right of in-
gress and egress for the construction of sewer, drainage, street tree
planting and public utilities, all as granted and shown on said map
within said subdivision, subject to the conditions set forth thereon.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk of the City of
Chula Vista be, and he is hereby authorized and directed to endorse
upon said map the action of said Council; that said Council has
approved said subdivision map, and that said public streets are ac-
cepted on behalf of the public as heretofore stated, and that those
certain easements with the right of ingress and egress for the con-
struction and maintenance of sewer and drainage facilities, street
tree planting, and public utilities as granted thereon and shown on
said map within said subdivision are accepted on behalf of the City
of Chula Vista as hereinabove stated
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk be, and he is
hereby directed to transmit said map to the Clerk of the Board of
Supervisors of the County of San Diego, California.

Subject: Chula Vista Gardens, Unit #6 - Final Map
Gentlemen:
At the meeting of July 6, 1970, the City Planning Commission con-
sidered the final map of Chula Vista Gardens #6.
This unit contains 57 single-family lots located north of Palomar
and east of Nolan Avenue. The area encompasses 12.53 acres. The
Commission found this unit to be in substantial conformance for
the tentative map and recommends approval subject to the following
conditions:
1. Lot 54 shall be preserved for future street purposes
until such time as determined unnecessary by the Director
of Planning.
2. The final map shall not be submitted for Council action
until corrections are made to the map in accordance with
the check sheets, all fees are paid and all necessary bonds,
agreements, deeds, letters, improvement plans and easements,
as required by the City Engineer, have been delivered to the
City.
